In accordance with Japanese law, some properties in Japan may require guests to pay an additional city or bathing tax upon check-in. This tax may be up to 300 JPY per person, per night, and is payable directly to the property.

Sunnide Resort Hotel is situated in the most picturesque location on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi, a location that is also known as the site of the villa of Shimazu, a former lord of the Satsuma domain, and one which provides sweeping views of magnificent Mt. Fuji and the clear blue waters of the lake Kawaguchiko. In addition to the hotel itself, the hotel's 66,000 m2 grounds, which are surrounded by forest inhabited by squirrels and flying squirrels, contains 26 private villas.
