The hotel is situated in Jozankei, a hot spring resort area about a one-hour car ride from Sapporo city centre. Due to the renowned healing effects of the natural hot spring waters, this area became famous and today attracts many visitors. Sapporo Kokusai Ski area and Mt. Hakkenzan with its picturesque views of the ravine mountains are near-by. From Shin-Chitose Airport it takes about 35 minutes by train to JR Sapporo Station. From the station it takes 60 minutes by bus to Jozankei Bus Stop, and just a minute walk to the hotel.The rooms are Japanese style rooms only with no beds. By day, the rooms are furnished with a low table and zabuton floor cushions on Japanese straw tatami mats. There is also a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. By night, the room is transformed with Japanese futons into a sleeping area.
