Biwako Hanakaido is a 15-minute drive from the Omi Jingu Shrine and Saikyo-ji Temple. The JR Hieizan-Sakamoto Train Station is also a 15-minute drive.
Japanese-style rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding, while Western rooms come with beds and a sofa. All rooms all soundproof and air-conditioned, and fitted with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an attached bathroom.
