The hotel is located in the Akan National Park, in eastern Hokkaido, amid the breath-taking scenery of volcanic peaks, some caldera lakes, and extensive forests. This particular hotel stands on the shore of Lake Kussharo, one of the largest lakes in Japan. From Kushiro Airport, it takes about 2 hours drive and 1hour from Memanbetsu Airport. The nearest train station is JR Mashu Station on JR Kushiro Honsen Line and it takes about 25 minutes from this station to the hotel by taxi.
