The hotel is situated in the Aokigahara Ocean of Trees spreading to the foot of Mt. Fuji. It is about 20km from the Lake Kawaguchi and 15 minutes drive from Kawaguchiko Exit on the Chuo Freeway. From central Tokyo to the hotel, it takes about 2 hours drive by car via motorway.
All rooms are medium in size and western style. They are all decorated in simple design with facilities such as air-conditioning, direct dial telephone and television. No internet access is available from guestrooms. Rooms on the ground floor have direct access to the forest over the garden. Some rooms on the upper floor have a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. The private bathroom in the most of rooms has only shower.
There is only one restaurant on the ground floor where daily buffet breakfast and buffet dinner will be served.
It is a modern, 4-storeid building with brick.
The lobby is medium in size with small reception and some sitting areas and a souvenir shop.
The hotel provides complimentary entrance to public baths (indoor and outdoor) for all guests. Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park district is getting more popular for group tours due to its fantastic location with lakes and Mt. Fuji. The hotel is one of the reasonable choices for all leisure groups visiting this beautiful district. (04/09 YT)
